NEW 2008-02-18 An agreement governing the acquisition of all shares of Elrond Komponent was entered on the 6 February 2008. The company is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the Teqnion group.
Teqnion is active in seven countries Till startwith marketing and sales of high-tech components, machines, systems and services through wholly owned subsidiaries. Teqnion shall be the natural partner for technology distribution in northern Europe through thorough knowledge about customer needs together with superior skills in distinct high-tech niches.

  2006-03-01 We are pleased to announce the release of a new UPS range. The new product range features UPS models ranging in size from 1kVA to 800kVA with a choice of 1/1 phase, 3/1 phase and 3/3 phase machines, as well as a vast range of Sealed Lead Acid Batteries suitable for standby, emergency lighting and UPS applications.

  2003-11-20 We are now presenting a couple of new UPS systems. It concerns the absolute smallest off-line types and a new compact cost-effective 3-phase system. Read more under the UPS side.

  2002-09-02 Elrond introduces their own brand of surge protection devices. After requested from several of our customers we will introduce our own brand of SPD's. We will at the same time present several interesting new SPD's. Follow this during the next months.  
  2001-11-09 We have during the autumn received several orders from our Scandinavian neighbour Finland. One of them is Wärtsilä who bought several large UPS systems for the worlds largest passenger ship "Queen Mary II". For this we are very pleased.

  2001-05-31 We now introduce a new surge protection device with a protection level less than 600V. This is even more interesting considering it's a mains protection with a capacity of >15kA (10/350µs). This means that you can replace all the three steps of SPD with one unit. This saves both money, space and installation time.

  2001-05-17 The exhibition Elfack in Gothenburg last week was very successful. We had approx. the double number of visitors than last time. We thank all of our visitors and look forward to a good cooperation. 

 
  2001-03-28 We want to inform that we will be present on the Elfack exhibition in Gothenburg 7-11 May 2001 (booth C05:20). Our booth will be the largest so far and we will show a lot of new interesting products. 
2000-10-27 We invite you to seminars in Stockholm during November. We will talk about potential equalization, surge protection and UPS.   
2000-10-17 A large article in Dagens Industri today writes about Elrond, mainly regarding surge protection. We have since we started with this area 1996 advanced to become the market leader in Sweden. This we are very happy for and we're working hard to offer technically good products with the right quality to competitive prices. 
2000-09-26 Networks Telecom exhibition in Stockholm was very successful. We met both existing and hopefully future customers. We thank you al who had the opportunity to visit us.

2000-04-12 First of May 2000 we open in Gothenburg. Responsible will Claus Schmidt be, who recently worked for Phoenix Contact.
