Multifunctional building components -
factors for success in modern lightning protection construction

Previously in lightning protection construction an enormous selection of building components was necessary to match the appropriate building component with the various connectors and brackets. Thanks to our inventions it is now possible to build a proper lightning protection system with only a few multifunctional building components. The multifunctional design of building components offers many advantages:

  • easier planning and calculation
  • reduced installation times
  • smaller stock and less capital investment

Multifunctional building components

The idea of multifunctional entails that the individual product presents itself as a system thanks to its manifold applications. For this reason, we refer to our components as systems.

Multi-Clamp System

The Original-Multi-Clamp - invented by J. Proepster in 1981 - has proved itself million fold. It is the most diverse lightning protection building component of the world. Can be used universally as T-, cross-, parallel-, thrust-, and connector clamp.

Bimetal System

The ideal system - in accordance with VDE - for all connections and contacts between different materials. Advantages: corrosion free connectors between copper leads and building components made of other materials - i.e. made of aluminium or galvanized steel - for grounding leads, isolation points, roof windows and metal constructions.
